Cancellations & Refunds Policy

At SPIRE Therapy, we understand that life can be unpredictable and plans may need to change. This policy outlines our approach to cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds to ensure fairness and clarity for all clients.
 
1. Cancellation Notice
We kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.

• Notice given 48+ hours before the session:
  ➤ You will not be charged, and the session can be rescheduled at no cost.

• Notice given less than 48 hours before the session:
  ➤ The full session fee will be charged, and no refund will be issued.
  ➤ Exceptions may be made for genuine emergencies at the therapist’s discretion.
   

2. Missed or No-Show Appointments
If you miss a scheduled session without providing notice, this is considered a no-show.

• No-shows will be charged the full session fee.

• Repeat no-shows may result in the suspension or termination of therapy services.
   

3. Therapist Cancellations
In the rare event that your therapist must cancel a session (due to illness or unforeseen circumstances):

• You will be given as much notice as possible

• You may reschedule the session at a mutually convenient time

• If you have prepaid, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund
   

4. Refunds

• Refunds are only available for sessions cancelled more than 48 hours in advance

• Refunds for packages or block bookings will be calculated on a pro-rata basis if sessions are unused and cancelled with sufficient notice

• All refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 working days
   

5. Booking & Payment Terms

• Sessions are confirmed only upon receipt of payment (unless agreed otherwise)

• Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, with the full fee still applicable
